Maybe you’re kind of random like me. Wanting to remember God and thank God for all the things on all the days, but yet sometimes forgetting His faithfulness. Still questioning if He’ll actually help one of my kids find the right college. Or asking what in the world we’ll do if my husband feels called to take that job he’s been offered across the country. I try to remember God, but I forget and instead try to take these things into my own hands, wasting time fretting about outcomes that might not ever take place.

One night recently, I went to sleep with pink eye. The next morning, I woke up grumpy. I couldn’t wear my contacts and had to pull out my ugly fifteen-year-old glasses. Yuck. Then I had to squeeze antibiotic drops in my eyes every four hours. Yuck again.
