In 1992, Xochitl injured her back and now lives in chronic pain.
“What are we waiting for? . . . We’re all waiting on God for something.”
“It’s not going to be today forever, but we can trust God today because we can trust Him forever.”
“I notice that I ask for things from God and He doesn’t give them to me and I’m like, why? Sometimes I receive those things later, look back, and realize I wasn’t ready for them when I asked.”
“I’m still hurting, but I’m still full of joy in God.”
“People have told me that if I was really a Christian I wouldn’t be in pain.”
“Faith is a muscle.”
“I think I’m independent and can do it on my own. God has used many things to show me I can’t do it all on my own.”

“Ask God to refresh us and use everything in our lives to bring us closer to Him so we know how much He loves us.”
“Ask God to transform us today. To make us more like Him. To help us understand the fullness of His love for us, and to help us love Him in return. Everything else will fall into place.”
